Meet Brandi
Posted on December 24, 2009
Brandi is in her senior year at Lubbock Christian and if you haven’t scrolled down already, she plays bb for LCU. (I promise to make it out to watch you before the season ends, girl!) This stunner decided to give her parents a nice Christmas present this year and I do believe she delivered. She and I went out a couple of weeks ago and shot all over Lubbock so we could get some good shots in her uniform before her last season ends. I met Brandi through tennis and oddly enough, we are quite a bit alike in the competitive aspect of things. She has such a great disposition and I just love Brandi to death. There are soooo many more to show but I MUST get some Christmas shopping done before the stores close on me. More later…
Thanks Brandi! I really enjoyed taking your pictures – you are absolutely gorgeous!

Meet My Nanny, My Tennis Partner but most importantly, MY FRIEND!
Posted on December 24, 2009
I had the pleasure of meeting this blonde, bubbly and completely hilarious Texas Tech beauty summer before last. We happened to be playing on the same combo team together and I asked her if she babysits…the rest is history! Amy is so many things to me – a few days a week, she comes over at 6am in the morning so my husband and I can leave for work. She then feeds my kids, gets them ready and safely drops them off at school – ON TIME, I might add; which is way more than I can ever accomplish. She helps me in so many ways with my kids and around my house…I was so lucky to find her and my kids adore her.
Amy is also my tennis partner – poor girl! I have a very funny story to tell about our very first tennis match together. Well, ya see, Amy and I share the same birthdays; however, she was born a few days before I graduated from high school so there is quite a gap in our ages. Amy, knowing how much I dread getting older, lovingly whispered to me after playing the worst set in my life, “If you don’t pick it up, I am going to tell everyone you gave birth to me on your 18th birthday!” ha ha ha ha! That Amy chick sure is hilarious alright. Amy and I didn’t lose again that season (we haven’t been so lucky in tournaments)! Heck no am I letting her tell anyone I am her MOTHER!!! I love playing tennis with this girl…we have a great time and we really even each other out.
But before I close this little post, I must talk about what a good friend Amy has been to me. The age difference means nothing to me, she is wise beyond her years, she is the most got-it-together person I have met in a very long time and Amy is an amazing listener. We will be lifelong friends – even though she will be pushing me around in my wheelchair someday. ; )
I feel extremely blessed to have this spunky little lady in my life and I really don’t know what I am going to do without her come August – She’s graduating from Tech and moving on to new endeavors. Amy D. will be missed!

And hands down, my most favorite image of the session… (she should model!)

Meet the Eagan Family
Posted on December 15, 2009
I met Brandon over four years ago when I started working in Amarillo. He works at a hospital I call on frequently. Brandon and his beautiful family met me on a very cold, blustery day in a Amarillo last week for some family pictures. The kids did their best to be troopers on what was one of the coldest days of the year – it was way better weather than what we were to originally have to face the Saturday before. We started out at a park and I just wasn’t gettin’ what I wanted…we then found an awesome abandoned barn – I loved shooting there and I can’t wait to shoot there again. The kids were able to stand getting their pictures taken at that point because the barn helped block the wind and frigid temps. These girls did an awesome job and how adorable is the baby?? Lovin’ those pigtails.
Thanks Brandon and Angela – See you for another round in late spring!
